Palm Springs Indian Canyon Ride – April 4th
Great ride and beautiful weather. Although we had a small group, those that came are probably still talking about it. We had seven riders, four Redshankers and three from San Gorgonio. After assessing horse/rider ability, we decided that all were up to a more ambitious ride than originally planned. Our leader, Beth Grossman, stables near the canyons and knows the area very well. She took us high above Palm Canyon then we dropped down and had lunch under a beautiful canopy of palm trees. We then continued on to Andreas and Murray Canyons to complete our wonderful 4-hour ride.

Seven of us embarked on a Redshank Riders sponsored ride through Indian Canyons in Palm Springs on the morning of April 4th. The trails were great and pleasantly challenging, the weather and scenery spectacular, and the company awesome. We started the ride along the ridge line with a view into Palm Canyon and then descended into the far end and rode along the stream with a lunch break under the palms. Everyone in the group was up for more so we decided to make another loop over the hill and into Murray Canyon and somehow came out at the end of Andreas Canyon (we had a great guide, Beth is a local). I personally have never ridden in this area but if the weather is nice I would highly recommend it to everyone. Bring a camera, you’ll want to remember this one.
